Twenty agents cost twenty times as much as one, and the bill arrives a month after the decisions that caused it.
Spend accumulates from the CLI’s own reporting and appears in five places you are already looking: the console header, the end of each turn, the sessions table, the reading pane, and the fleet totals.
For administrators
Money can be hidden entirely, or the running totals restarted from a date. Neither changes what was actually recorded — the underlying figures stay intact.
Controls a terminal never gave you
Cost is one reason to reach for these; there are others.
- Stop a running turn, and the queue behind it goes with it.
- Queue messages while a turn is running — the console says how many are waiting — and take the last one back.
- Ask a side question that never enters the model’s own context, but is still kept in the transcript.
- Change permission mode mid-session. The header marks the mode as a guess when a command inside the CLI may have changed it underneath.
